The DiCaro Difference
Mary will tell her clients: “I don’t train in vain.” She is not interested in making superficial improvements that will quickly fade. Mary insists on investing the time and personal attention needed to get to know her clients and inspire real, lasting change in people and organizations.
She is unlike some other trainers, who deliver a workshop and then disappear. Mary builds relationships during and after her sessions; she leaves each group with a customized action plan to implement new, positive behaviour and phase out unproductive habits. Because she cares about each team’s progress and wants to see every person improve, Mary will follow up regularly and hold her clients accountable for doing what they promised.
Mary will fearlessly challenge an organization’s accepted wisdom if she feels she can push that organization to achieve better results. She will persevere in the face of resistance and defeatism, never backing down from a conflict if working through the issue will bring a group closer together. She will go where other trainers would never dare go to identify and solve an organizational or emotional problem that is negatively impacting team success.
Sometimes called “Mary on a Mission” or “Boot Camp Mary” by impressed clients, Mary is a straight shooter who tells the simple truth to managers and front-line people alike, all with the aim of moving performance and personal satisfaction from ordinary to exceptional.
Intense? It can be. But Mary cares so much because she believes strongly in what she does, and applies her teachings to her own life and career. She knows that if people participate in her workshops and are serious about making a change, they will improve their lives. Audiences describe Mary as someone who trains with passion and ignites the passion in others. Armed with an infectious energy and her trademark sense of humour, she makes training fun while constantly adapting to the needs of each individual group, making a real difference in their lives. It’s a rare and winning combination.
